The Great Ormond Street Hospital patients were VIP guests at a star-studded charity premiere of the Pirates Adventure Show. The spectacular event filled with action, dance and acrobatics, raised over £71,000 towards the Theatres for Theatres Appeal, which is funding two state-of-the-art operating theatres within a new children’s centre for Neurosciences.
The youngsters and their families were flown to the island and treated to a week’s holiday, courtesy of First Choice Holidays and got to mingle with celebrities including Harry Potter’s Draco Malfoy, Tom Felton, members of the Eastenders, Holby City and Coronation Street.
