Desmond Tutu Speaks to UNICEF

South African Nobel Peace Prize laureate, Archbishop Desmond Tutu, who will join attend the Education For All High-Level Group meeting, has told UNICEF what he thinks about education.
The Archbishop speaks about the importance of discovering the talents of children who might grow up without an education and says, ‘We are not being merely altruistic if we care about the condition of our sisters and brothers in other parts of the world. It is the best form of self-interest.’
Nearly 60 million children in conflict affected countries do not have the opportunity to attend primary school.
Desmond Tutu, UNICEF, Norway and more than thirty winners of the Nobel Peace Prize aim to change that.
