Earnest Graham to host celebrity weekend in Fort Myers

news-press.com • April 24, 2009 Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Earnest Graham announced he will have a celebrity weekend Friday, May 15 through Sunday,
May 17 in celebrating having a Fort Myers street named after him. Graham Avenue in Fort Myers will be renamed Earnest Graham Avenue. Graham’s weekend will raise money for Earnest Giving, Inc., his charity that helps various other youth organizations throughout Lee County. Graham graduated from Mariner High School in 1998 before playing at the University of Florida. Graham’s big weekend includes four events, as follows: Friday, May 15: Who’s Got Game: NFL players and other celebrities will play an exhibition basketball game at 7 p.m. at Dunbar High School. Tickets cost $15 for adults and $10 for children 18 and under.
Saturday, May 16: Roll with Earnest: At 5 p.m., a celebrity bowling tournament will be held at Pin Street (formerly Galaxy Lanes) on Fowler Street in Fort Myers. Current and former Tampa Bay Buccaneers will participate in this event. Team tickets cost $250 for two games, including food and drinks, provided by Lee Roy Selmon’s Restaurant. Lee Roy Selmon himself plans to attend. Spectator tickets cost $15.
