Proceeds From Exclusive Sale Launching This Spring Will Benefit Natural Resources Defense Council This collaboration represents a continued commitment by eBay to supporting the
fashion world. In 2005 and 2007, eBay partnered with the CFDA and Vogue to present 7th on Sale — the largest sample sale on the Internet. eBay has also partnered with leading designers for past charity auctions. Azrouël is the latest design superstar to be championed by the online marketplace. Of the collaboration, Azrouël stated, “I’m really happy to be partnering with eBay for a project that will both bring my collection to a wider audience and give back to a great cause.” Charity Sale As part of the collaboration, eBay will sell a variety of looks from Azrouël’s women’s and men’s Spring/Summer 2009 collection in a sale to benefit Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC). All pieces will be offered at fixed-prices that are below retail in order to make high-end fashion accessible to eBay’s users while raising money for a charity benefiting environmental causes.
