Edelbrock Raises 150000 For Children With Special Needs 2009: Edelbrock Folks

Edelbrock Raises 150000 For Children With Special Needs

Edelbrock, the same folks who offer us IAS shocks, the Pro-Flo 2 electronic fuel injection system and performance systems for our diesel-powered trucks, among
many other things, has announced that they’ve raised $150,000 for children with special needs. With the help of many volunteers and the generosity of many individuals, local businesses and national corporations, Edelbrock hosted a weekend that began with a gala and charity auction. Radio personality Alan Taylor was the master of ceremonies. Auction items included world-class vacations, fine wines, Lakers and Dodgers tickets, PGA VIP passes donated by Tiger Woods, a ride on the Goodyear Blimp and VIP passes to Live with Regis and Kelly. That was just day one. Day two featured the 4th Annual Rev’ved Up 4 Kidz car show. This show drew 375 show car entries and over 5,000 attendees. It was held at Edelbrock Corporation in Torrance, California, and featured a local band and food and drink vendors among many other things. Plans are already underway for the 5th annual event to be held April 24-25, 2010. More info: or www.edelbrock.com.
