Evergreen: The Gala for The Morton Arboretum

Envision a world where people and trees thrive together.

“I think that I shall never see, a poem lovely as a tree.” are the opening lines of what poem? If you answered “Trees” by Joyce Kilmer, give yourself a pat on the back because you are correct! Just like how Kilmer loved trees, The Morton Arboretum is an Illinois-based organization who not only adores trees, but is working towards “a greener, healthier, more beautiful world where people and trees thrive together.” On September 14, they’ll be holding Evergreen: The Gala for the Morton Arboretum to raise funds for them to be able to continue studying and conserving more trees, while educating communities of their importance.

The annual fundraising event, Evergreen: The Gala for The Morton Arboretum, supports the institution’s vision of a greener, healthier, more beautiful world where people and trees thrive together.

Where trees grow, people gather. Where they thrive, people do, too. The Morton Arboretum plants trees and works with communities throughout the Chicago region and the world to create a greener, healthier, more beautiful world where people and trees thrive together.

Join us on Saturday, September 14, for Evergreen: The Gala for The Morton Arboretum, to celebrate and support our work in all the communities that grow around trees.

Author Munia Khan said, “Trees exhale for us so that we can inhale them to stay alive. Can we ever forget that? Let us love trees with every breath we take until we perish.” If you want a world where people and trees thrive together, show up at Evergreen: The Gala for The Morton Arboretum.
