Michigan’s Fab Five will appear together as part of NCAA men’s basketball Final Four festivities in Detroit.
The Ann Arbor News reports that Chris Webber, Jalen Rose, Juwan Howard, Jimmy King and Ray Jackson are scheduled to take part in an April 4 charity event at the Motor City Casino. The event will benefit the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History. The group led the Wolverines to national title games in 1992 and 1993. The benefit will be the first time Michigan’s starting five has been together since their college playing days ended. All achievements by the team were erased by the NCAA after a federal investigation revealed a booster gave Webber and three non-Fab Five players more than $600,000.
