Falmouth charity groups holds fundraising masterclass

3:54pm Thursday 19th February 2009 A cookery demonstration involving fish went swimmingly well at a Falmouth hotel earlier today, helping raise much needed cash
for charity. The Falmouth support group of Cornwall Hospice Care held the event at the Green Lawns Hotel. Over 90 people watched as Falmouth chef Ken Symons, who runs his own catering company Olivers, spoke briefly on sustainable fish before demonstrating how to select the best produce and then fillet it. He then moved on to show the assembled guests the tricks of how to cut vegetables into fancy decorative creations. Christine Morris, chairman of the charity
