Filipino Community in the United Arab Emirates were able to managed and raised Dh 7,500 at a charity brunch for the victims of Typhoon Pablo. The event Brunch for a Cause was a project initiated by the Filipino Community (FilCom) in Dubai and the Northern Emirates.
Filipino Community in Dubai and Northern Emirates (FilCom DNE) added 30 boxes of in-kind donations. Proceeds will go to Sangguniang Masang Pilipino International Inc. (SMPII).
It is good to think that even Filipinos abroad, extended their help to the country. Typhoon Pablo left more than 700 dead and caused around 6 Billion Philippine Pesos in damage when it devastated parts of Mindanao, Visayas and Southern Luzon.
