Sport Flow awards Boys’ Town for Champions Cup win Boys’ Town were the toast of the Flow Champions Cup Awards presentation at the Jamaica
Football Federation (JFF) Secretariat yesterday, walking away with the $600,000 winner’s prize and the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award. Young Boys’ Town striker Peter Keyes, who unlocked the Tivoli Gardens defence in the final with the opening goal, copped the MVP award. Four players with four goals apiece shared the Top Goal Scorer award. They are Jermaine Anderson (Waterhouse), Gary McIntosh (Reno) and the Rivoli United pair of Valentine Gardner and Devon Hodges. Boys’ Town’s Andrew Price was the winning coach after guiding his team to their first lien on the all-island knockout trophy, and they did so without conceding a goal.
Sixty-six goals were scored, and at $3,000 a goal for charity, Whole Life Sports received a cheque for $198,000, which was collected by its executive Andre Virtue.
