The Spring Food Stroll is Wednesday, May 13, 5:30 to 8 p.m. in New London’s waterfront district. More than 24 eateries will offer samples of their best signature dishes. Buttons are $25 in advance and $30 the day of the stroll and include a free drink coupon. Student pricing is $20 in advance and $15 the day of, and children 4 and younger are free. Visit for tickets. The American Celiac Support Group will hold a Gluten Free May Breakfast May 16 at 2 p.m. at Alice’s Diner, 2663 South Main St., Fall River. The cost is what you order. Seating is limited. Call (401) 826-0363 to reserve. For more information visit the The Chez Pascal Hot Dog Cart, Hewtin’s Dog, is in business for the season. It can be found on the edge of Lippitt Park, Hope Street, Providence, a few steps away from the restaurant. It features all-beef Grote & Weigel Hot Dogs, regular and spicy, as well as house-made relishes such as Sweet Pepper & Vidalia Onion Relish, Classic Pickle Relish, and Sweet and Spicy Golden Mustard. The cart will be out Monday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to about 4:30 p.m., weather permitting.
