A Filipino and Former Ms. Netherlands 2006, Sheryl Lynn Paderes Baas started the Sheryl Lynn Foundation (SLF) when she was 23 years old. The Sheryl Lyn Foundation projects include sending school supplies, granting scholarships, creating school facilities like toilets, stage and function areas in many schools in Leyte, Philippines.

Baas project is perfect for this coming school year, this month of June and Baas hopes that in the future, she can also extend help to other provinces in the Philippines. The former beauty queen continues to holds regular charity events to raise funds for the Sheryl Lynn Foundation with the support of her fellow beauty queens in the Netherlandsn and contacts.
