Press release: Local Artists’ Work Will Be Auctioned Off To Benefit CU’s Literature Department At the Event Boulder, CO- Free Comic Book Day is a single day — the first Saturday in May — when participating comic book shops across North America and around the world give away comic books absolutely FREE to anyone who comes into their stores. The day provides an excellent opportunity for fans to beat the recession and experience new comic book titles at no cost. Mainstay Boulder comic book shop, Time Warp Comics and Cards, will be participating in the giveaway event and a charity benefit auction.
