Christ Hospital is hosting two summer fundraisers in the upcoming weeks.
“A Taste of Summer,” a rum-tasting event with hors d’oeuvres, will be held tomorrow, 7 to 9 p.m., at Edward’s Steakhouse, 239 Marin Blvd. in Jersey City. The donation for entry is $50 and all proceeds will go to the Christ Hospital Foundation and be used for patient care. And golf fans can buy a ticket to the 2009 Barclays PGA Tour golf tournament – which kicks its four-day run at the Liberty National Golf Club in Jersey City on Aug. 27- and support the hospital at the same time. Christ Hospital is a participant in the Tickets Fore Charity program, which donates 75 percent of the ticket’s purchase price to the hospital’s foundation. Tickets are $45.
