Equestrian fans will be out in force at Ballyhenry in Wicklow this Sunday for the annual Ladies International Polo Tournament.
Some of our top players will be jetting in especially for the glam event. This year the charity bash will take on an Argentinean theme, kicking off with a South American-style BBQ as polo fans check out all the sporting action on the pitch. Held to raise funds for the Jack & Jill Foundation, there will be plenty of familiar faces in attendance. Among those on the guest list are charity queen Jackie Rafter, RTE’s Mary Kavanagh, Ann Smurfit and Monika Murray. Among the world’s top polo players showing off their prowess will be Britain’s Lucy Taylor and South Africa’s Janine Hugo.
