Glendale To Host Last Thursday Thing 2009: City Glendale

Glendale to host last Thursday Thing

The city of Glendale will host the season’s last That Thursday Thing May 21.
The last Thursday night event, called Girls Night Out with a Pajama and Tiara Party, will run from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday in downtown Glendale. Visitors are encouraged to wear pajamas, robes, slippers and a tiara and visit Glendale Visitor Center, where they will receive a gift bag, event map and can take a spin on a themed prize wheel. There will be live entertainment as well as free horse-drawn carriage rides, henna art, a caricature artist and giveaways. Participants also may hitch a free ride on Ollie the Trolley throughout the Old Towne and Catlin Court areas with stops at Cerreta Candy Co. A charity component of the event will benefit West Valley Child Crisis Center and Aid to Adoption of Special Kids with collection of new blankets and pajamas at the Glendale Visitor Center. The visitor center is located at 5800 W. Glenn Drive. For more: 623-930-4500 News, analysis and ideas that defy the odds and the times
