All That Glitters raises $250,000 The April 4 black-tie event at the Navy Pier Grand Ballroom in Chicago attracted 700 supporters for dinner, dancing
and a live jazz performance. Honors for outstanding service were bestowed upon Dr. Gopal Madhav, an internal medicine specialist at Christ Medical Center, and Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana. Proceeds will support the expansion of programs and services at Advocate Hope Children’s Hospital in Oak Lawn and three new state-of-the-art clinical institutes in the areas of neurosciences, heart and vascular and cancer at Advocate Christ Medical Center. “Meeting the increasing health care needs of the Southland is our mission,” said Anedra Kerr, vice president of development at Christ Medical Center. “These gifts will allow us to create much needed space in the existing medical center and children’s hospital and give us the opportunity to provide the most cutting-edge medical technology available to our patients.”
