Since it began in 1983, the Governor’s Charity Steer Show has raised $1,721,578 for charity.
The 2009 sale capped an afternoon of activities which began when 25 steers paraded into the livestock pavilion led by Culver and other celebrity show-persons competing for the title of “Judge’s Choice.”
