Great support from biking community for polio event

Weather Organisers of a charity bike ride this morning are thanking the Isle of Man’s motorcycling community for their support.
The lap of the mountain course was arranged by the Douglas Rotary Club to raise money for the eradication of polio worldwide. More than 200 bikers, many with pillions, turned out and there’s a possibility it could have broken the record for the number of machines on the course outside the TT. Many TT stars went along for the ride, including John McGuiness and Steve Plater who are on the Island for the Martyn Heyes memorial dinner tonight.
