Helping Hands Localarea benfits

Scouting for Food: Boy Scouts will collect bags and boxes of non-perishable food from 9 to 11 a.m.
today. The food items must be placed outside. No monetary donations will be accepted. Donated food will stock shelves in the Grand Forks area and St. Vincent de Paul. Hoop-A-Thon: A free-throw contest with divisions for younger and older than 16 is set for 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday in Gym 1 of the Hyslop Sports Center in Grand Forks. Proceeds go to Huntington
