Organizers say despite the tough economy, the event raised $50 thousand dollars.

Half will go to the Hawaii Foodbank. The rest will go to the Lokahi Giving Project.
"Serving for the community, the community who’s supporting our country club, so we try to somewhat repay what they have done for us,” CEO Honolulu Country Club Tomio Taki said.
This is the foundation’s fifth charity golf tournament. So far its raised a quarter-million dollars for charities across the state.
