Hundreds of golfers converge on Moree

The first official event in the week of golf is a 36-hole stableford that started on Monday and concluded yesterday.
About 220 veteran golfers have registered for the week and Moree Veterans Golf Group secretary and treasurer Peter Gough said roughly 25 per cent are local players, with about 75 per cent visiting. John McPherson from Grafton was leading Kingaroy
