Husted TV Shows Come To Town Looking For Stars Illadorned 2009: Tv Future

Husted TV shows come to town looking for stars illadorned

I see TV in our future.
“American Idol” comes to Denver on July 12-14 for two days of sign-up and one day of auditions at Invesco Field at Mile High. Simon, Paula, Randy and Kara are not expected. Auditions for season 9 also will be held in Boston, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas and Orlando. And VH-1 has greenlit a reality show to be shot in Aspen. Still untitled, it’ll follow around rich and poor folk in the glam town. It’s set to debut early next year. VH-1 says it’ll be more like “The Hills” than “Real Housewives.” Watch out! You might get ambushed this week. The TLC show “What Not To Wear” is due in town with stars Stacy London and Clinton Kelly. They’ll hit on four Denverites whose friends say they need makeovers — bad. Then they’ll fly them to NYC and make them presentable. Melanie in the mountains. Longtime Aspenite Melanie Griffith hits the cover of the upcoming Aspen Peak magazine — dishing about the town, her husbands and her age.
She turns 52 in August, but says, “I don’t think sexy ever goes away . . I like being older. Mentally, I love it. Physically, sometimes it’s a bit of a drag.”
