2016 Benefit Auction opened on October 7 at Vermont Center for Photography

In-Sight Photography Projects 2016 Benefit Auction opened on October 7 at Vermont Center for Photography, 49 Flat Street, Brattleboro, Vermont. The Exhibition and on-line auction run through October 30, 2016. The VCP gallery is open every day 12-5pm.

The 18th Annual Photography Auction & Exhibition, hosted by the Vermont Center for Photography, can be viewed at www.32auctions.com/insight2016. Online bidding ends Sunday, October 30th at 6pm.

The annual photography auction is In-Sights signature fundraiser. Each year over 200 photographers donate works. Photography subjects range widely, from portraits and landscapes to experimental techniques. All artwork in the exhibit is available for sale through the online auction. Proceeds from the auction support In-Sights Scholarship Fund.

The In-Sight Photography Project teaches photography to youth ages 11-18 throughout Southern Vermont, regardless of their ability to pay. Students are offered a creative voice and outlet, tools for self-awareness and self-worth, and the encouragement to become actively engaged in their communities. One of In-Sights programs is the Exposures Program, a cross-cultural exchange program that establishes the arts as a common language among youth from diverse communities.
