The International Ride of Silence will be held in hundreds of locations worldwide including Hawaii.
The ride is put on as a memorial to cyclists killed by motorists, as a silent protest, and also to raise awareness of the importance of safety on the roads.
All cyclists and runners are welcome to be part of the free event, but are asked to keep a pace of 12 mph and remain silent the entire way.
The Hawaii International Ride of Silence is on May 21.
