Parents Steven Morrison and Jenny Morrison are trying to raise money and awareness. Pic: Kit de Guymer JACOB Morrison’s brain stopped developing in the womb at 10 weeks, leaving him unable to walk or talk. However, it hasn’t impaired his ability to laugh. The 18-month-old Reedy Creek boy has the rarest of conditions, microcephaly, meaning his brain will never fully develop. It has left him with no control over his arms and legs, he cannot sit up and has very poor vision. However, all it takes is a kiss on the cheek or a tickle from strangers to make him open his mouth wider than wide and giggle.
His parents Simon, an accountant, and Jenny, say the child’s obvious joy makes daily life easier to bear.
