Not even on the shelves a month and JK Rowling’s book, The Tales of Beedle the Bard, has already raised 4m for charity.
With 2 629 000 copies of the book selling in the first week of it’s December 4 release, the book is selling at at a rate of two copies per second around the world, generating just over 4 million for Rowling’s charity for children in Central and Eastern Europe, the Children’s High Level Group.
‘I am absolutely delighted that so much money has been raised,’ JK Rowling said about the book sales.
