Join Coronation Street stars in NSPCC charity teatime event

CORONATION Street stars David Neilson and Julie Hesmondhalgh are joining the NSPCC children’s charity as it ‘Stops For Tea’.
Whether it is done at Roy’s Rolls – the cafe in the ITV soap run by their characters Roy and Hayley Cropper – or your own lounge, the NSPCC is calling on people across Shropshire to play their part in ending cruelty to children by taking part in Stop For Tea week from May 11-17. The week marks the NSPCC’s 125th anniversary. WHITCHURCH businessman Ray Grocott has thanked the firefighters who cut free his seriously injured wife from the wreckage of her car after a crash on the A49. A WOMAN from Bangor-on-Dee hurled a deckchair at Somali pirates as they tried to hijack her holiday cruise ship. We want your local stories, videos & pics. Find your new car: Model All
