TheOboe and Friends Concert, created by Doug Hooker, provides an opportunity to benefit theAtlanta Music Project (AMP), while showcasing the oboe and other double reed instruments. TheAtlanta Music Projectprovides formal music instruction for underserved kids attending schools with no music programs. Doug has had a lifelong love for the oboe, and now studies under the tutelage of Barbara Cook.
Oboe and Friendscombines these two loves while also showcasing the marvelous sounds of many othertalented local musicians. The first concert held in 2016, received rave reviews from the audience, and raised thousands of dollars for AMP.
This year’s concert continues that tradition.Join Doug and the other musicians in this marvelous cause. Purchase a ticket online, or become a sponsor.Click hereforTax-deductibleSponsorship and Advertising Opportunities!
