Jordan Still Talks About Award Night 2009: The Mum

Jordan still talks about award night

THE mum of a boy who suffers from a life-threatening condition is backing awards for seriously ill children and their carers.
Eight year-old Jordan Mount, from Rutherglen, suffers from Hurlers Syndrome, which has meant he needed two bone marrow transplants from his elder brother, Declan. Jordan was honoured at last year’s star studded WellChild Awards in
London where he had the chance to chat with the charity’s Royal Patron, Prince Harry before the ceremony. Now his mum Jacqueline is urging people across Glasgow to send in nominations for this year’s awards. She said: “The awards ceremony was fantastic. “Jordan was treated like a celebrity for the evening and he still talks about the event now.” The charity would like to hear about people who have made a difference to sick children through devotion above and beyond the call of duty, or who have worked to keep children healthy and happy.
They can include
outstanding health, social care or education professionals.
