Lichield Man To Climb Snowdon For Charity 2009: Lichfield Man

Lichield man to climb Snowdon for charity

A LICHFIELD man and his twin nephews are hoping to raise cash for the battle against prostate cancer by walking up Mount Snowdon next
week. “I read about the event in Trail magazine and decided to combine my love of walking with raising funds to help make a difference for future generations of men diagnosed with the disease,” said Patrick. “Both Phillip and John are looking forward to realising their dream of going up a mountain.” Prostate cancer is the most frequently diagnosed male cancer in the United Kingdom. Each year about 30,000 men are told they have the disease and about 10,000 men die of it. Awareness about prostate cancer and its symptoms is far less than for other cancers but if it is diagnosed early it can be cured.
