Local Event Calls Upon Wine Enthusiasts 2009: Drinking Cause

Local Event Calls Upon Wine Enthusiasts

Drinking up for a good cause…
a unique approach to charity hitting mid-Michigan today. Wines For Humanity continued their mission of raising money to prevent homelessness at the Gone Wired Cafe in Lansing today with a demo wine tasting event. They’re calling upon all local wine enthusiasts and those wanting to make a difference to host a wine tasting charity event in their home. We spoke with Senior Wine Advisor Sabina Texido at the event today. “It’s very intriguing, the concept of putting together wines and charity has not been done before, so we’re the pioneers in the area. People get very interested.” If you’re interested in hosting a wine tasting party, you can stop by Gone Wired Cafe until eight tonight, or head to our website, wlaj.com.
We want our site to be a place where people discuss and debate ideas that foster stronger communities. We built this for you. Please take care of it. Tolerate broad thinking, but take action against obscene or hateful material. Make it a credible and safe place worth preserving and sharing.
