Saturday, April 25, 2009 Local News in brief Ball for kids SAVE the Children Fiji aims to raise $30,000 from a charity ball to
go toward advocacy and training on the rights of children. Chief executive officer Chandra Shekhar said after a successful charity ball last year, Save the Children Fiji was keen to make the event an annual feature. The event will be held at Novotel Tradewinds convention centre in Nadi from 6pm on May 15. The evening will be accompanied with an auction of paintings by local artists and music by the Fiji Police Band.
