The Bryan Fire Department defeated the Bryan Police department 13-5 on Saturday at Brazos Valley Bank Ballpark in their annual charity baseball game.
The event helped to raise $800 for the David Seaton family, who recently lost their home in a fire. The Hearne football team’s preseason scrimmage at Bruceville-Eddy has been moved up a day to 6 p.m. Thursday. Hearne coaches agreed to reschedule the scrimmage after Bruceville-Eddy hired a new coaching staff in the offseason.
