Music Conservatory of Westchester announces charity classic

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y.
— The Music Conservatory of Westchester will hold its eighth annual Golf & Tennis Classic on Monday, May 18, 2009 at the in Armonk, NY. Last year, sixty-eight golfers teed off and thirteen tennis players took the court, raising $70,000 for Conservatory scholarships and tuition assistance. The Golf & Tennis Classic commences at 10:00 a.m. with registration and barbecue lunch, followed by a 12:30 p.m. shotgun start for the golfers and a round-robin tennis tournament at 1:00 p.m. A cocktail reception and live auction begin at 5:30 p.m. dinner and awards are at 6:30 p.m. Live entertainment will be provided by the Hudson River Jazz Coalition.
The Golf & Tennis Classic is co-chaired by Patricia Bottomley of Larchmont, Mack Cunningham of Rye, Terry J. Feldman of Bedford Hills, Dr. Aaron Flagg, MCW Executive Director, of Riverdale, and Lee Lasberg of Ridgefield. Committee members include Harry Bright of White Plains, Maren Hexter of Armonk, Larry Keiser of West Harrison, Chris Meyer of Bedford, and Amanda Schick of Yorktown.
