Natasha Henstridge joined several other famous faces sashaying down the catwalk for a good cause recently, when she took part in a charity fashion
event during the kick-off to New York Fashion Week. There were just two ‘rules’ for the Heart Truth collection, which made its debut on Friday &ndash all the dresses were red, and all the models were celebrities. Joining Eli Stone star Natasha were Hilary Duff, Tori Spelling, Kill Bill actress Vivica A Fox and the original Wonder Woman, Lynda Carter. Springdale-born Natasha – something of a natural at modelling having secured her first magazine cover at 15 – wore a classic pillar-box hued gown. The ruche-waisted affair was by American designer Ashleigh Verrier, whose clients include and Rachel Bilson. Other leading designers participating in the annual show, which is held to highlight awareness of heart disease, included Carolina Herrera. Modelling a one-shoulder red taffeta creation by the Big Apple-based designer was Lynda, who playfully danced her way down the catwalk. Vivica wore a red sequinned number by British designer Jenny Packman and Tori showcased a flirty strapless Betsey Johnson sheath.
