Natasha Richardson has been flown to New York, where her family are holding a vigil awaiting her imminent death, caused by an acquired brain injury. Natasha Richardson has since died, the family asks that in lue of flowers and tributes, donations be sent the amfAR Foundation for AIDS Research.
The accomplished actress, wife of Liam Neeson and daughter of Vanessa Redgrave, met with the tragedy while on a ski holiday in Canada.
Richardson was an active AIDS/HIV charity supporter after having lost her father, director Tony Richardson, to an AIDS-related illness in 1991.
Sympathies go out to Natasha Richardson’s family and friends who are all suffering from Natasha’s fatal brain injury.
