1:30pm Saturday 25th April 2009 MORE than 1,000 people were treated to a night of music and fashion as Fashion Wales LIVE returned to
the Newport Centre. This is a non profit charitable organisation working with young people in and around Newport. The event was organised by Fashion Music Arts Cymru and featured more than 400 performers. Singers, rappers, live bands, breakdancers and streetdancers were just some of the acts alongside the fashion designers and hair and makeup artists who showcased their designs. This included independent designers, retailers and past and present fashion students of the University of Wales, Newport. Fashion collections included Posh and Punky, Raindrops, Capture and Exotic Promises.
Entertainment was provided between the performances by Eggsy and Rhys of Goldie Looking Chain.
