Tuesday, May 5, 2009 Bikers, Marines team up to help kids The United Bikers of Northern California and the Marine Corps MC have teamed
up to help north state autistic children. There will be a presentation of special needs furniture and play equipment donated to several autistic children at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Little Philly’s Pizza, 22047 Palo Way in Palo Cedro. Real Estate 1 hosts Wings fundraiser Real Estate 1 in Redding will host a barbecue fundraiser for the Wings of Angels charity 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday. All net proceeds from the event will be donated to Wing of Angels, which assists families who have children with cancer or another serious illness.
Thursday’s event will take place at Real Estate 1’s new office at 2415 Larkspur Lane. Dinner (super dog, chips and dessert) is $3, beer and wine is $2, and soda and water are $1 apiece.
