A new acting head of the school is taking the reins at Topeka Collegiate.
Dick Patterson brings 45 years educational background and experience in Topeka and the surrounding area. He replaces former head David Hudspeth, who spent two and a half years at the school. “It’s great to serve in an educational environment that challenges students while helping them develop confidence and the skills ecessary to make decisions that lead them to a bright future,†Patterson said in a statement. “Topeka Collegiate is a special place, and it’s good for Topeka,†he said. “We’re focusing on enriching the educational experience for students while achieving academic excellence and results.”
Patterson is inviting all families to Topeka Collegiate’s annual open house. It’s planned for 7pm, March 3rd at the school at 2200 SW Eveningside Drive. The event will help people learn more about Topeka Collegiate School, the educational philosophy, results and financial aid. Reservations can be made by calling the admission office at 785-228-0490.
