The arena hosted the fourth-annual Cameron Smith Friendship Tournament, attracting bantam teams from Nepean, Kanata, Stittsville, Osgoode and other teams in the Ottawa District
Minor Hockey Association. A friendship tournament is the perfect way to pay tribute to Cameron, a 13-year-old Kanata boy who was killed in traffic accident in 2005.
