Polar Plunge

Get frosty for funds and help support the Special Olympics.

Nearly 200 million people around the world struggle with intellectual disabilities. With the help of volunteers, coaches, and athletic trainers, these people are discovering their strengths and finding confidence and joy through athletic competition.

Special Olympics has been serving the needs of children and adults with these disabilities all over the world. The Ithaca, NY chapter will be holding its annual Polar Plunge on March 25 at Taughannock Falls State Park. Registration takes place at 10 am and 11:30 am EST.

Funds raised will help with year-round training and athletic competition as well as leadership and wellness programs for children and adults with intellectual disabilities in the greater Ithaca region. Athletes are never charged to participate.
