FALLBROOK &mdash The inaugural Fallbrook Pop Warner Charity Golf Tournament will feature Lorenzo Neal, former San Diego Charger Future Hall of Fame fullback.
The event will take place on Saturday, June 20, at Pala Mesa Golf Resort. Early registration begins at 11 a.m. with tee-off at 1:30 p.m. Awards will be given for hole in one, closest to the pin and putting contest. In addition, a number of silent auction items will be up for bidding and awarded during the post tournament banquet, which begins at 5:30. Pop Warner provides a safe and structured environment in which children benefit from participation in youth football. Like all youth sports programs, Fallbrook Pop Warner relies solely on player registration fees and generous donations from local businesses.
Kids are welcome to participate in this event or attend the banquet. The registration fee is $135 per player ($500 per foursome).
