Princess Diana Charity Concert Auction

Princess Diana Charity Concert Memorabilia Auction

It seems that the Princes’ Princess Diana charity concert is the charity gift that just keeps giving, with memorabilia from the event now going up for auction on eBay.
After performances at the epically publicised Wembley Arena tribute concert, held for what would have been their mother’s 46th birthday, Princes William and Harry asked performers including Kanye West, Sir Elton John, Nelly Furtado, Andrea Bocelli and Fergie to sign three red, white and blue Gibson guitars – a Gibson ES 355 Dot, a Gibson Flying V X Factor and a Gibson Les Paul Classic.
The guitars, as well as the designer’s model of the stage used as a backdrop for the show, are up for auction on eBay with proceeds going to benefit Sentebale, the Lesotho children’s charity, and the Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fund.
Sentebale was founded by Prince Harry and Lesotho’s Prince Seeiso to transform the lives of Lesotho’s orphans and vulnerable children and to aid victims of poverty and the HIV/Aids epidemic.
The Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fund is an independent grant-giving charity continuing the Princess’ humanitarian work in the UK and overseas.
The Princess Diana Charity concert memorabilia auction on eBay will be taking bids until July 12.
