PUTT FOR FOOD A GREAT SUCCESS On Sat., August 1, seven teams of four made their way around town to raise money for the
local food bank. While stopping for cool and refreshing libations and mastering their putting skills, the warriors managed to raise $2,100 for the food bank. A huge thank you goes out to all who participated in the 1st Annual Charity Putt Pub Crawl as well as a big thank you to all establishments who donated to this cause. Each establishment created a mini golf hole for this event — Officials, The Lodge, Roman’s, Big Swell Eatery, Driftwood, Eagle’s Nest, ANAF, Floathouse and the Canadian Princess. A special thanks to the BC Lottery Corporation, West Coast Motel and Pacific Western Breweries for their donations. We look forward to a much larger turn-out for the 2nd annual putt pub crawl. Congratulations to Ron, Vance, Paige and Michelle on winning the tournament. DO-RE-MI AT AGM Drink your ginger tea and warm up your Do-Re-Mi’s.
