The fundraiser is part of a fun day at the Punchbowl Pub in Old Bath Road, Colnbrook, tomorrow (Sunday) in memory of Rosarie Lynch
who died on June 9. The musician’s donation came about because his sister lives in Colnbrook and is a friend of the family. Rosarie was married to her childhood sweetheart, Barry, and the couple, of Aintree Close, Colnbrook, had three children – Jack, Zoe, and Ryan, aged four, three and 23 months respectively. Her family have organised the event at the pub, owned by Barry’s dad, from 12.30pm. There will be a bouncy castle, face painting, live music and children’s entertainer Mr McDonut. There will also be a raffle and an auction to raise money. Mr Lynch, 31, said the money raised will go to a children’s charity. He said: “Obviously it is not as easy as when Rosarie was here but we will get by, we will be okay. We have got a good family and good friends. “Hopefully it will be a good day. My sister has organised a lot of the prizes, people have been very generous. There is all sorts of things from golf days to days at Ascot and Windsor races. We are all excited.”
Mrs Lynch’s sister-in-law Debbie Rogan, said: “Rosarie had a brain abscess four years ago and she was in and out of hospital. She got meningitis in March which lowered her defences and sadly she passed away.
