The fifth annual Salvation Army Charity Golf Classic is accepting bookings.
Parksville’s Morningstar Golf Course is the site of the June 24 event which helps raise funds for the Salvation Army to aid them in helping less fortunate people in the Nanaimo area through meal service at the New Hope Centre. Register now for the tournament and receive 18 holes of golf (including power cart), food (lunch, supper) and fun. Tickets are $159 and includes a $45 tax receipt. A putting contest and hole -in-one prizes are up for grabs. Contact Dawne Anderson (250-740-1004) or Brian (250-248-2244) to book a spot in the tournament. Also, volunteers interested in helping out at the tournament are asked to contact Anderson.
