SF ACTIVISTS TO RALLY FOR LGBT IRAQI COMMUNITY FACING VIOLENCE

officials will hold a demonstration and fundraisers at Harvey Milk Plaza in San Francisco today in solidarity with the Iraqi lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered people who are facing violence. Speakers at the rally will include state Sen. Mark Leno, Supervisor Bevan Dufty, San Francisco Police Commission President Theresa Sparks, Karen Kai of the Rainbow World Fund and political artist Clinton Fein. The rally will begin at 12:30 p.m. at Harvey Milk Plaza, located at Castro and Market streets.
