Over 200 singers, local choirs and soloists from across North America will join hands together to make the evening a heart warming, inspiring event.
Sing for the Cure, is a series of ten songs, each song is sung from the viewpoint of those affected by breast cancer. These songs discover the complete collection of human emotion, from hopelessness to hope, from anguish to humour, and from loss to love.
GLASS Youth Choir has performed Sing for the Cure across many states in the US and locally. All the proceeds from this event will be donated to the BC Cancer Foundation, the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, and the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Global Promise Fund.
Sing for the cure event is on Saturday, April 25, 2009, 8:00 pm at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Vancouver, BC
