A WEEKEND of fabulous, free entertainment returns to Southport next month &ndash bigger and better than ever! The annual Southport’s Charity Fun Fest hits
Princes Park on Saturday, June 13 and Sunday, June 14 with a great day out promised for all the family. Saturday will see a whole host of attractions, including giant inflatables, fairground rides, live bands, football freestylers, the hotly-contested Southport Tug O’War Challenge and much, much more! Already confirmed to appear are the West Lancashire Dog Display Team, whose courageous canines will race around an obstacle course jumping through hoops of fire. All profits from the event will be shared between local charities. Organising committee chairman James Grundy said: “This is the time for Southport to shine. “Every year Southport’s Charity Fun Fest gets bigger and bigger &ndash we expect this one to be the best yet!
